タコスは俺の原点。いつか世界を旅するフードトラックを
Q：これからやってみたいプロジェクトってありますか？
ドレッド山田：フードトラックっすね。ずっと夢なんです。世界中をまわって、その土地の人たちに、自分が作る“うまい”を届けたい。きっかけは、メキシコ料理。中学か高校のとき、いとこに連れていかれたタコス屋があって。そこで食べたタコスがマジで衝撃だったんですよ。あの体験が、たぶん俺の食の原点です。あの店の空気感もすごい良くて。「食ってマジすごい」って、そのとき思った気がする。
その経験が、俺の食の世界観を変えたキッカケになりましたね。
Tacos are my starting point. One day I'll have a food truck that will travel the world.
Q: Are there any projects you would like to try in the future?
Dread Yamada: It's a food truck. It's always been a dream. I want to travel around the world and deliver the delicious food I make to the people of each region. It all started with Mexican food. When I was in middle school or high school, there was a taco shop that my cousin took me to. The tacos I ate there were seriously shocking. That experience is probably the origin of my love of food. The atmosphere in that store was also really nice. I think I thought at that moment, ``Eating is really amazing.''
That experience was the turning point that changed my view of the world of food.
